DESCRIPTION:  \nAvec les bouquets de fleurs\, les paysages constituent le thème majeur de l’oeuvre de Monique Journod qui développe une peinture autour de ses villégiatures en Bretagne (île de Bréhat)\, en Normandie (Honfleur) dans le Beaujolais\, en Franche-Comté\, en Provence\, au Maghreb\, en Grèce (îles de Mykonos et Hydra). \nElève de Roger Chapelain-Midy à l’École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris\, elle obtient le prix de Rome en 1962\, et est\, aux côtés de Paul Ambille\, Alex Berdal\, Joël Dabin et Arlette Le More\, membre du groupe Demain. \n« L’art\, nous le savons\, n’est crédible que s’il est l’authentique reflet de son auteur.
