SUMMARY:La peinture\, un lieu\, un liant\, un lien
DESCRIPTION:Peintre\, sculpteur\, plasticien\, Pierre-Henri Buestel (1956-2011)\, après l’Ecole nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris où il travaille notamment dans les ateliers de Caron et Faure\, a participé à de nombreuses expositions personnelles et collectives. Il a transmis son savoir et sa passion à tous les élèves qui ont fréquenté ses ateliers. \nLe travail de Pierre-Henri Buestel contient une rêverie métaphysique sur l’origine de l’homme et sa place dans l’univers. Un rêve d’immatérialité\, qui fait écho aussi bien aux songes aériens de Sima qu’aux illuminations des poètes (Rimbaud\, Artaud)\, aux mystiques orientales et aux mystères des origines de l’art (Lascaux)\, ce rêve se trouve paradoxalement précipité au cœur de la matière picturale. Il tente d’établir un lieu\, à la fois proche et lointain\, dans lequel il cherche à s’installer\, à prendre corps\, à ouvrir des portes\, à en parcourir la dimension\, en recherchant une relation à l’artisanat\, l’architecture\, la sculpture. \nJ’accorde autant d’importance aux matériaux de base physico-chimiques utilisés\, trouvés\, voir retrouvés (pigment et charges rares\, végétales\, minérales\, animales) qu’au résultat formel qui en découle directement. Il s’agit d’un état d’esprit. Je pense que la très haute technicité d’aujourd’hui et de demain ne remplacera jamais vraiment la science de l’optique que peut encore évoquer la peinture\, par la peinture\, dans la peinture\, à travers l’observation de tel ou tel élément de la nature\, provoqué entre autres par la science actuelle. \nJe crois en un Lascaux\, ou plus exactement une abstraction naturaliste scientifique. \n… \nL’objectif de ma préoccupation étant une tentative d’alliage du « réel »\, (apparent) de l’imaginaire\, du symbole (Lacan) en recherchant un contact avec l’artisanal (métaphysique)\, L’architectural\, le théâtral\, le musical\, la poétique\, le philosophique (Platon)\, les différents aspects du monde religieux\, l’état monacal\, un certain état d’esprit\, de type « naïf » (Le Clézio\, Le Douanier Rousseau\, le Quattrocento)\, la dynamique du rêve (d’abord il y a le rêve de peindre et peindre) et le thème de la solitude.
