SUMMARY:Colette Levine\, "Jeux de lumière"
DESCRIPTION:Après des études artistiques auprès d’André Lhote\, Yves Hersent et Robert Lesbounit\, Colette Levine entame une recherche autour du corps et de sa lumière. Elle aborde sa peinture dans une facture plus ouverte\, plus colorée où les frontières entre le figuratif et l’abstraction disparaissent\, laissant la couleur et le trait s’exprimer de façon plus éclatée. \nLe style des pastels de Colette Levine peut surprendre de prime abord par son classicisme. Situé comme hors du temps\, il semble ne pas tenir compte des contingences de notre époque. Dessin\, composition\, couleurs\, forment un clavier où se joue l’harmonie. Elle renouvelle ainsi l’art du portrait et du paysage au fusain\, à la sanguine\, au pastel ou à l’huile. \nCollette Levine a participé à de nombreuses expositions personnelle et collectives en France et à l’étranger. Ses œuvres se trouvent dans des collections particulières en Autriche\, Espagne\, Grèce et en France. L’une de ses œuvres a été acquise en 1984\, par la Présidence de la République Française comme cadeau officiel à la Présidence de la République Grecque. \n« Colette Levine est une fée. Une fée travestie en peintre talentueuse qui regarde tranquillement et chaleureusement le monde. Dans le choix de ses sujets\, c’est notre quotidien qu’elle nous rend transformé : objets assemblés\, paysages paisibles ou tourmentés\, nus pudiques… ce regard ajoute de la beauté et de l’harmonie à ce que nous avons sous les yeux. Colette ne se contente pas de transformer son pinceau en baguette magique\, révélant des campagnes solitaires et les ombres d’un soleil bienveillant\, des murs où les fenêtres masquent des intérieurs rendus mystérieux et attirants ; elle possède l’autre qualité de toute fée digne de ce nom\, c’est un optimisme ravageur.
