DESCRIPTION:3\, 2\, 1… ne partez pas\, il va y avoir du sport. Prenant prétexte de Paris 2024\, les espaces de la ligue artistique de la MABA s’envisagent comme le terrain d’une rencontre peu courante. Choix d’une activité périscolaire ou d’un loisir\, programmation d’une soirée TV ou vote du budget municipal : sport et culture s’opposent fréquemment. L’un et l’autre cherchent l’attention du public\, déterminent des pratiques amateurs ou confirmées. \nLe sport s’adresse au graphisme pour s’aligner sur la grille de départ\, défendre ses couleurs\, distribuer ses décorations\, promouvoir et organiser ses rencontres selon les règles. Ses équipementiers possèdent leurs designers et leurs bureaux de style dédiés\, tandis que ses supports développent leurs propres esthétiques dans des continuations tantôt mass-médiatiques tantôt vernaculaires de l’héraldique à même de se constituer en marqueurs culturels ou sociaux. \n« My Adidas Walk through concert doors\nAnd roam all over coliseum floors. » \nLe graphisme intéresse peu par les mouvements et les efforts qui conditionnent ses formes et résolvent ses concepts. Il possède lui aussi ses épreuves nécessaires à attester la valeur d’un travail. Il n’a renoncé ni au spectacle\, ni à la performance et sait manier l’image du sport pour évoquer l’effort\, la confrontation ou la physique des corps.
