DESCRIPTION:Artiste :\nLaurence Vecten\nPour la deuxième année consécutive\, la Maison d’Art Bernard Anthonioz accueille\, du 9 au 11 septembre 2011\, PIY (« Publish it yourself »)\, manifestation consacrée aux éditions (livres\, fanzines\, catalogues\,…) conçues et diffusées par des photographes pour présenter leur propre travail. \nCe phénomène du home made photobook\, initiée à partir des nouveaux réseaux sociaux et de l’échange virtuel\, constitue paradoxalement un retour au papier\, à l’imprimé\, à l’écrit\, à l’artisanal. Comme un besoin urgent de revenir à un échange concret\, de laisser une trace sensible. La pratique touche des photographes connus – Stephen Gill\, Alec Soth …- comme des anonymes et donne lieu à des créations graphiques et éditoriales singulières et surprenantes. \nL’édition 2011 de PIY propose\, autour de la sélection internationale opérée par Laurence Vecten\, d’une centaine de productions\, le travail du collectif britannique Preston is my Paris (Adam Murray & Robert Parkinson) qui anime également un workshop sur trois jours autour de la prise de vue et de la réalisation d’une édition auto-publiée.
