DESCRIPTION:Artistes :\nKarina Bisch\, Corentin Canesson\, Nicolas Chardon\, Matthieu Cossé\,Bastien Cosson\, Quentin Lefranc\, Benoît Maire\, Julien Monnerie\, Camila Oliveira Fairclough\,Clément Rodzielski\, Anne Laure Sacriste\, Benjamin Swaim\, Emmanuel Van der Meulen\, We are the painters\nTextes de Thomas Clerc\nIntervention graphique d’Olivier Lebrun\n  \nLe projet Paris Peinture\, initié par Karina Bisch et Nicolas Chardon réunit quatorze artistes dont la pratique s’inscrit essentiellement dans le champ de la peinture (mais pas exclusivement). Après deux premiers « épisodes » au Quadrilatère de Beauvais et à la Galerie Jean Brolly\, l’exposition présentée à la MABA avec comme sous-titre Ici et Maintenant s’attache à montrer les bornes temporelles dans lesquelles cette pratique est circonscrite (1984 – 2023): de la première œuvre – celle à partir de laquelle l’œuvre est advenue – à la dernière œuvre\, la plus récente\, pour chacun des artistes. \nParis Peinture – Ici et Maintenant rassemble ainsi des peintures qui ne se ressemblent pas\, qui tracent des histoires diverses qui\, réunies\, constituent des « histoires de peinture(s) » ou plutôt « des peintures d’histoires » selon la proposition de l’auteur Thomas Clerc qui nous en raconte vingt-six. Sont-elles fictives\, inspirées des œuvres de l’exposition… ?
