Wang\nLois Weinberger\nVirginie Yassef\n  \n  \nEntre constat des impacts de la crise climatique en cours et possibilité de résilience\, l’exposition Météo des forêts propose des traversées dans des forêts et leurs multiples bavardages. \n\n\n\n\nParler de la pluie et du beau temps constitue (souvent) une stratégie d’évitement pour cacher ses préoccupations derrière des considérations de chaleur\, de froid\, d’humidité\, de pluviométrie\, de vent et de tempêtes… Éléments de climat\, anecdotiques dans nos conversations\, pourtant primordiaux pour la faune\, la flore\, l’humus\, les forêts… comme pour nous\, humains. A travers cette « météo des forêts »\, voyons et écoutons ce que les arbres\, eux\, ont à dire. Comment vont-ils dans cette période incertaine ? \nEntre 1983 et 1994\, le peintre Bob Ross\, dans ses shows télévisés The Joy of Painting\, s’employait à nous faire peindre des « Happy Trees ». Tutoriels « youtube » avant l’heure\, les émissions mettaient en avant des paysages bucoliques de lacs et rivières\, de montagnes aux sommets enneigés\, de nuages vaporeux et surtout « d’arbres heureux ». \nEn 2023\, la « météo des forêts » est mise en place comme outil de prévention des risques quand\, d’années en années\, les lueurs orange des incendies se propagent en asphyxiant les villes et leurs alentours avec les particules fines issues de leurs fumées. Désormais\, la période est celle des mégafeux qui augmentent de manière exponentielle la superficie de leurs conquêtes et qui\, à l’instar des ouragans et des cyclones\, disposent eux-aussi de leur propre nom. \nA travers ce prisme de la forêt\, l’exposition invite à prendre le temps de ralentir pour prendre la température de cet écosystème fragile et ressentir ce qui nous (re)lie\, les uns et les autres\, les uns aux autres.
