DESCRIPTION:Artiste :\nAnne-Lise Broyer\nA travers une scénographie singulière mêlant photographie\, typographie et vidéo\, Anne-Lise Broyer nous présente deux séries de photographies : Le ciel gris s’élevant (paraissait plus grand) et Au Roi du bois. \nElle nous invite d’abord à déambuler dans une demeure qui pourrait bien être celle que renferme notre mémoire et sur laquelle s’ouvre notre mental lorsque le mot « maison » est prononcé. « La Salle » : lieu dit\, lieu tu. Lieu de l’action\, on photographie pourtant son retrait. C’est là\, c’était là. Cette bâtisse\, un Parthénon\, cette maison que vous regardez-là est une maison de verre : transparente et brisée\, comme tombée par terre… et dont chacune des images devant vous est un éclat (mat)\, dont chaque pan est un bris. Perspective redressée\, tout est ramené au plan\, le champ aplani comme « Les pommes » ailleurs\, « Les chevaux bleus » plus loin encore. C’est comme jeter un verre au sol\, un « instantané » dit l’autre\, un instant tané. Tout est arrêté. Ce que l’on regarde\, est-ce un instant que la photographie aurait fixée ? N’est-ce pas plutôt ce qui\, dans cet instant\, s’est tout à la fois décalé et absenté ? \nPuis\, dans le bruissement des feuillages et le toucher des écorces\, à la recherche du « Roi du bois »\, figure antique et littéraire\, une trentaine de « paysages minuscules »\, de « paysages minutieux »\, tentent d’inventorier\, tel un herbier\, ces lieux dits et « tus »\, ces lieux déjà vus\, déjà lus : de Nemi au désert de Retz en passant par Tiffauges\, Barbizon ou Giverny. \nAu Roi du bois est donc ceci\, une sorte d’herbier\, une collection de « paysages séchés » et minuscules conservés dans le fantasme qu’un simple regard pourrait en réactiver la magie\, l’odeur\, la profondeur… Chaque photographie\, chaque « épiphanie » puisque c’est de cela dont il s’agit\, pourrait être une racine\, un ingrédient du philtre. L’ensemble en constituerait la recette\, la recette perdue. Cette série prend aussi ses distances avec ces mythes\, ces histoires\, ces lieux forts pour construire une « fiction » ouverte\, indéterminée et changeante. Elle suggère le mystère. Elle tente l’éblouissement.
