Je le repère en 1982 sur la chaussée d’un faubourg de Barcelone. Il est à demi enseveli dans la poussière. Je le pousse du bout du pied et l’observe. L’état de sa fourrure témoigne qu’il a séjourné de longs mois dans la fange après avoir été écrasé par un camion. \nJe le prends entre deux doigts et l’examine de plus près. Il est sec\, plat\, démonstratif : il ressemble à une photographie. Ou\, plutôt\, à deux photographies qui auraient été tirées dos à dos sur le même support et représenteraient le recto et le verso d’un même objet : un chat. 28 ans plus tard… \nA.S.L. \nLe spectateur\, immergé dans ce qui pourrait être un questionnement sur le temps\, fera l’expérience d’une exposition en mouvement\, en évolution\, un non-finito. De salle en salle\, celle de La folie douce ou s’embrasseront les bouches de Deneuve\, Huppert et Bernadette Lafont\, celle de Je suis hanté.
L’Azur ! L’Azur ! L’Azur ! L’Azur ! consacrée à l’adaptation à venir du BLEU DU CIEL de Georges Bataille\, à celle du verre brisé où par écrans interposés Artaud dialoguera avec Rita Hayworth en Océanie. Citerons-nous Lautréamont ? « Beau comme la rencontre fortuite sur une table de dissection d’une machine à coudre et d’un parapluie. ». etc etc… De l’hiver (symbolisé par une boule de neige dans un frigo)\, au printemps (dehors)\, en passant par l’été (Eros)\, le visiteur se retrouvera en automne dans la salle dédiée au chat\, à ce « raidi made » (comme le dit André S. Labarthe)\, la salle La mort en ce jardin. Un jardin suspendu. Le temps donc\, tous les temps. De l’humour à la mort… De la mort à l’humour. Aussi tout au long du parcours\, comme des cailloux déposés et comme pour se perdre en chemin\, il cueillera des œuvres inédites*\, des œuvres imprimées\, empilées\, une somme d’hommages au chat momifié perché là-haut sur un tapis de feuilles mortes\, un bol de lait\, une femme nue allongée… \nCette exposition Le chat de Barcelone\, en réunissant matières filmiques\, sonores\, matières photographiques et matière grise\, tentera d’exposer et de caresser\, à travers un choix d’objet chimériques tel ce félin catalan\, la pensée aussi singulière que libre du cinéaste A.S.L tel qu’il fuit. \nAvec le concours du Fresnoy\, studio national des arts contemporains \n      #bwg_container1_0 #bwg_container2_0 .bwg_masonry_thumb_0 {        text-align: center;
