DESCRIPTION:Artiste :\nÉric Rondepierre\nLe premier trimestre 2015 est l’occasion de mettre à l’honneur le travail du photographe Eric Rondepierre à travers deux expositions au titre commun IMAGES SECONDES qui auront lieu à la Maison d’Art Bernard Anthonioz et à la Maison Européenne de la Photographie. Privilégiant un cheminement rétrospectif\, la MEP présente l’ensemble des séries réalisées par Eric Rondepierre et développe une vision panoramique de l’oeuvre du photographe quand la Maison d’Art Bernard Anthonioz expose des œuvres anciennes inédites et une toute nouvelle série. Les deux volets d’Images Secondes se complètent ainsi et donnent à voir une démarche où se déploient\, sur vingt cinq années de « reprises de vue »\, des réseaux de fils sémantiques qui finissent par se relier. Les séries et les oeuvres d’un lieu à l’autre se suivent ou se répondent mais\, souvent\, ne se ressemblent pas… \nEn spectateur\, archiviste ou archéologue\, Eric Rondepierre repère les images de films en relation avec des évènements « parasitaires\, périphériques\, accidents\, micro-phénomènes qui n’ont plus le moindre rapport avec le cinéma ». Car son oeuvre n’est ni un hommage au cinéma\, ni une tentative de restauration ou une nostalgie de son « aura ». En tant qu’artiste\, il prend simplement appui sur une mutation en cours du cinéma et de son industrie – où les films se diluent dans une multitude de simulacres\, de prothèses\, de produits dérivés virtuels ou réels – pour parcourir les marges d’un monde dont les fragments sont maintenant à portée de la main. Il s’y réfère comme à une « nature »\, un corpus dans lequel il pioche en explorant ses angles morts. Qu’il s’agisse de documenter la fiction ou de fictionnaliser le document\, le travail d’Eric Rondepierre guette les aberrations du dispositif filmique\, authentifie les décalages\, les métamorphoses des ces images orphelines\, provoque des rencontres\, des hybridations\, élabore des hypothèses.
