DESCRIPTION:  \nMonstre est un workshop de dessins\, animé par des problématiques liées au corps et ses représentations dans l’histoire de l’art et les cultures populaires.\nDes fresques grotesques de l’Italie du XVIe siècle aux visions oniriques d’un Alfred Kubin\, des corps élastiques et surhumains des cartoons aux formes molles et rondes des dessins des Chicago Imagists\, il y a toujours dans l’histoire des arts des représentations de corps hors normes – monstrueux\, difformes\, composites…-\, vecteurs d’imaginaires critiques\, subversifs. \nQu’en est-il aujourd’hui\, à l’heure des sociétés néolibérales et des injonctions contradictoires\, à la fois sociales\, culturelles et comportementales qui affectent les corps ?\nNous tenterons de répondre à cette question en pratiquant un dessin qui fonctionne par sédimentation\, de manière joyeuse et ludique mettant ainsi en avant les questions de l’assemblage\, les écarts de gestes et de représentations. \nHippolyte Hentgen est un duo d’artistes. Il est compose de Gaelle Hippolyte et Lina Hentgen\,\nrespectivement nees en 1977 et 1980. Elles vivent et travaillent à Paris.\nEn 2007 elles se rencontrent et s’amusent de quelques dessins a quatre mains.
