L’installation sera visible dans la Bibliothèque Smith-Lesouëf pendant la table-ronde et lors des journées européennes du patrimoine 2025.\n  \n\nLe jardin de d’agronomie tropicale – René Dumont constitue\, malgré son nom semblant inoffensif\, un empilement et une condensation de couches de violences politiques (et par extension militaires) et économiques liées au colonialisme de la France. Par la densité de leur présence dans le jardin\, les traces matérielles de ces couches de violence engagent une étrange relation double\,fusionnant dans un spectacle exotique de fabriques de jardin\, et en même temps\, dissolvent mutuellement leur raison d’être\, leur sens et la posture éthique que demande le fait de les regarder individuellement. Le jardin devient un trou noir dans le monde\, une absence du politique\, du sociétal et de l’historique\, un vide de tout ce qui pourrait faire sens. \nA partir de ces postulats\, la table ronde va envisager s’il est\, au fond\, possible de porter un regard sur le jardin ou à partir de lui et si un tel regard peut être juste;
